Throughout my experience of dealing with breast cancer, I have learned SO many life-enhancing lessons. I've always known that movement is essential for healthy living (and I am an exerciser), but I never fully understood until recently the importance of "exercising" our connective tissue (aka fascia). Connective tissue is, after all, what holds our body together from head to toe and everything in between!
When our fascia becomes "stuck" from lack of movement and/or unconscious bad habits (like slouching or "favoring" an aching body part or two), our bodies are thrown out of alignment, we lose flexibility, and we suffer from various degrees of pain. The longer this goes on, the situation can become chronic.
